Finding Your Holy self and your relationship with the Holy
What is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual Direction has a long history within the Christian church and is branching out into other faiths with the same practice. Spiritual Direction is a way of meeting with a Spiritual Director and unveiling, unfolding and understanding your Sacred Story and developing your relationship with the Divine.

Must I be a member or affiliated with this church or any church?

No! Although many Spiritual Directors are Christian in faith, Padre is well trained in dealing with diverse spiritualities and helping many individuals define and strengthen their relationship with the Creator or Higher Power. Padre welcomes the opportunity to help each person develop their relationship with the Creator or Higher Power. Your spiritual and religious orientation should remain with you as what you hold with integrity. Your spiritual viewpoint may change over time but it does not need to become like that of your Spiritual Director. Your Spiritual Director believes that the Divine/Holy One (and GOD in any of the great names), is much bigger and more awesome than your Spiritual Director's viewpoint.

Who benefits from Spiritual Direction?

Anyone of any faith, or those with no faith background just beginning their Spiritual Journey can benefit from Spiritual Direction. Anyone who has come to a place in the road of their spiritual journey, where a quest for life's meaning is of paramount importance should consider spiritual direction. Typically people hit a mid-life crisis or the need to find the Divine can hit a person of any age. It may be the Divine, GOD or a Life Force that one hesitates to label or name, calls and motivates one to become more than he or she is at this place in their life.

Why should I work with a Spiritual Director?

A Spiritual Director companions you honestly on your journey so that you begin to see all the options of growth you may be overlooking.
Flexible style - What do you find as creative ways of experiencing GOD; mandalas, sand trays, creative art, journaling, interviews, formal writing. All these and more are ways a Spiritual Director helps you to respond to the Holy in your life.

Flexible Scheduling - From once a week to once a month, a Spiritual Director will schedule to meet your needs of exploring your relationship with the Holy. Realistic Fees - Fees are based on your ability to pay and your income.  So what should you do?

There is no time better than the present to take courage and action to begin Spiritual Direction. To begin, merely click on this link [click] or call and leave a message at 810-288-0577.

Fees?

The first session is a free consultation, an exploratory interview. This interview, your Spiritual Director feels is a great service to you to find if Spiritual Direction is for you. Anyone who does commit to Spiritual Direction will see the great value and be willing to pay a reasonable fee. Your Spiritual Director will work with your budget to make Spiritual Direction a reality for you.
