Rev. Edwin ‘Padre’ Yates ... ,
pastor of Redeemer MCC has a wide variety of talents and gifts which he brings to our community. Padre toured the globe as a military dependent of a Naval Officer and has enjoyed life in a wide variety of cultures. He is an Interpreter for the Deaf, Vocational Expert & Employment Consultant by secular trade. Padre's education includes a Master of Education Degree in Deaf Education and Counseling.
Padre enjoys computers, languages and taking on narrow-thinking people. He certainly is not afraid to take on a challenge. He serves this community as a Spiritual Director and as Pastor of MCC of Flint. He is also a member of the UFMCC PLAY (People of Leather Among You).
